IT Financial Analyst / Consultant

Prolink Business Solutions is hiring a contract IT Financial Analyst/Consultant for a hybrid role based in New York, NY. You will help strengthen financial visibility and accountability across the full IT landscape by supporting reporting and analysis that gives stakeholders clearer spend insights. The role also offers a flexible schedule and an hourly pay range of $50.00 to $65.00.

What you will do

• Maintain, support, and improve the reporting used to communicate spend insights to stakeholders
• Ensure accuracy and clarity of financial reporting

What you bring

• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Accounting experience, including ability to manage/book accruals, reversals, pre-paids, and CapEx and related activity
• Cost allocation experience
• Knowledge of IT department operations and financials, including contract management
• Comfort working with procurement processes
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data modeling, complex formulas, pivoting, automation, and scenario analysis
• Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards
• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft financials or similar ERP systems, including sourcing/mining data and researching accounting and procurement transactions
• Experience with ServiceNow to source/min data and research transactions (including ITFM, CMDB, and APM)
• Experience with Hyperion
• Analytical, detail oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator who can facilitate discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with large, complex financial datasets and evolving frameworks
• Prior experience supporting organizations within the MTA is a plus

Job type: Contract (Temporary).
