Job Description
This on-site role in Stamford, CT sits within KPMG’s CFO organization and centers on turning data into strategic action. Responsibilities
- Act as the strategic partner between Finance and Accounting and the firm’s business units and service lines
- Deliver in-depth analysis, insights, and actionable recommendations from data to support strategic planning, decision-making, and course correction for identified risks
- Simplify complex messages and communicate the business story behind the data
- Advance the firm’s financial strategy through proactive analysis, planning, and forecasting, focusing on future outlooks, including fiscal year projections and medium-term strategic outlooks
- Engage with finance and business stakeholders, providing financial insights and an independent perspective
- Foster an environment where people and technology, including AI, collaborate to generate efficiencies and resolve issues impacting team performance while building new skills aligned with business transformation
- Maintain integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold a respectful and courteous work environment
What we’re looking for
- Minimum five years of accounting or financial planning and analysis experience, preferably within a professional services environment
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Proficient with financial software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-driven mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future; no sponsorship is available for this opportunity
- Technologies: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Artificial Intelligence (AI)
