Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced Financial Patrol

This part-time Security Officer role provides enhanced unarmed patrol coverage at a financial institution in Johnstown, PA. The position includes consistent anchor shift hours, along with flexibility to pick up additional assignments through a scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Role Overview

As an Enhanced Unarmed Security Officer, you will support day-to-day safety for customers, visitors, and employees by conducting security procedures, completing required documentation, and responding appropriately to incidents and alarms. The pay rate for this position is $18.24 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific procedures to help maintain an orderly environment for customers and staff.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

How the Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): The role is tied to a designated site and weekly shift serving as a reliable base schedule, with a required six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through a scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (and 21+ for armed roles).
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
