Senior Analyst, Financial Planning and Management

Deloitte Global Finance supports decision-making across the organization by delivering research, analysis, and guidance on Deloitte’s financial health worldwide. In this onsite role in Jacksonville, FL, you will help drive financial planning and management by overseeing key reporting and forecasting activities and partnering with global stakeholders, including offshore resources and leadership teams.

As a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning and Management, you will translate financial activity into actionable insights for Executive Leadership, while contributing to global initiatives through ad hoc analysis, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing.

What you’ll do

• Lead financial accounting and reporting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and expense control, with a focus on value creation and operational efficiency.
• Partner with offshore resources to develop deliverables for Executive Leadership, providing insights and guidance aligned to strong client service.
• Use strong organization and attention to detail to respond quickly to leadership ad hoc requests.
• Work with the Global Finance team, global leaders, and Deloitte firms on ad hoc projects and analysis, including C-suite initiatives; solicit input, direction, and develop recommendations and implementation plans.
• Contribute to team-building and global brand development through learning initiatives and knowledge-sharing sessions, networking events, and related activities.

Skills and qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant finance experience, with a focus on Financial Planning and Analysis.
• A Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships and establish trust, identify needs, customize solutions, and motivate teams to support operational and strategic priorities.
• Ability to present ideas and solutions logically and clearly to Senior Executives.
• Exceptional research, analytical, and quantitative skills, with advanced attention to detail.
• Capability to manage projects independently and collaboratively to achieve organizational goals.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with judgment aligned to organizational objectives and strategies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial activities, including investment and expense oversight.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and storyboarding proficiency.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Proactive, results-oriented team player committed to building a high-performance team.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with competing priorities and stringent deadlines.
