Job Description
In this onsite Technical Support Specialist role focused on ServiceTitan’s Financials pillar, you will help customers manage essential financial workflows within ServiceTitan software. The position centers on accounting process support, integration troubleshooting, and coaching best practices to reduce friction and improve outcomes for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact to assist customers through phone, chat, email, and screen-sharing sessions.
- Build strong expertise across ServiceTitan financial modules, including invoicing, accounts receivable, job costing, and related areas, to deliver expert guidance and practical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems involving accounting integrations, including integrations with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and other connected platforms.
- Coach customers on accounting best practices within the product, including chart of accounts setup, financial reporting, and month-end closing procedures.
- Use support tools and thorough testing to prevent escalations and de-escalate complex financial workflow cases when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in technical support or an accounting-related role.
- Ability to function as an efficient, effective, and resourceful problem-solver with strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong people skills: empathetic and patient, with the ability to explain complex financial and technical concepts in clear, simple terms.
- Comfort working in a feedback-oriented culture and maintaining composure in a challenging, rapidly changing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Customer-centric mindset, motivation to learn, and a can-do attitude.
- Solid understanding of core accounting principles, including debits/credits, accrual vs. cash basis, general ledger, P&L, and balance sheets.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks (Desktop or Online), Sage, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet tools such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting.
- Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude.
- Knowledge of the home or commercial service industry is a plus.
- Comfort working remotely, and ability to work at a desk (sitting or standing) for 6–8 hours at a time.

Compensation
USD 19–31 per hour (hourly).
