Job Description
Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a temporary financial analyst to assist with financial management, evaluate program finances and expenditures, and support operations leadership in making informed, value-driven decisions. This onsite role is based in Kingstowne, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operations teams to develop forecasts, budgets, and EACs.
- Provide financial data analysis to program managers and directors to drive performance against corporate objectives.
- Strengthen cash flow by coordinating with the billing team, applying program-specific processes, and analyzing unbilled and billed accounts receivable.
- Enter project structure, master data, and all contract funding and value into Costpoint.
- Partner with shared services to expedite actions and resolve issues that could adversely affect the End Market or enterprise Quality Assurance on expense charging.
- Prepare monthly customer reports in accordance with contract requirements.
- Close out projects upon completion.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of finance and/or accounting experience.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
- Strong problem solving abilities and adaptability to fluctuating business demands.
- Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Physical requirements may include lifting, climbing stairs, and extended periods of sitting or standing.
