Job Description
Lead close cycles, strengthen controls, and deliver accurate reporting for business decisions in Eugene, Oregon.
- Location: Eugene, OR (onsite, in person)
- Compensation: USD 85,000 - 105,000 per year
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Primary tool: Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly and annual financial close process
- Supervise and support administrative and accounting team members
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity for accuracy
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for decision-making
- Support accounting inquiries across key functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, and general accounting
- Improve accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls
- Partner with leadership to provide meaningful financial information that supports business decisions
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding company, financial, payroll, employee, customer, and ownership information
- Foster communication and collaboration across departments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Strong accounting knowledge and experience
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- CPA preferred
