Analyst, Financial

Support property-level financial monitoring and reporting, including compliance support and escalation of heightened risk indicators.

Responsibilities

• Participate in quality review of NKF databases and reporting tools
• Assist with development and maintenance of proprietary reports
• Provide compliance-related support, including:
  • Financial statement processing
  • Inspection receipt and processing
  • Database management
• Review financial statements for the assigned portfolio and provide timely reporting to:
  • Investors
  • Master servicers
  • Senior management
• Escalate findings to asset managers when heightened risk indicators are identified
• Communicate extraordinary or significant risk issues to senior management
• Recommend transfer of problem loans to the Loss Mitigation group
• Monitor borrower compliance with loan documents and take appropriate enforcement actions as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or another related field
• GSE experience is a plus
• Ability to travel 10-20%
• Problem-solving skills and ability to exercise independent judgment with a strong focus on accuracy and initiative
• Proven ability to organize and prioritize projects, completing multiple tasks on schedule
• Ability to work productively with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL and Word
• Strong work ethic and a proactive team-player approach, including the ability to perform in sometimes stressful conditions
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels across the organization
