Job Description

Join Doctors Hospital of Augusta in an on-site finance leadership pipeline role supporting the hospital Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Apply healthcare finance knowledge to drive both clinical outcomes and financial results
  • Manage execution of HCA Healthcare’s capital asset management process
  • Demonstrate understanding of HIM and Case Management/Care Coordination functions
  • Build expertise in productivity, staffing, and scheduling
  • Maintain hospital accounting effectiveness, including internal control environment and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrate executive presence through temperament, competencies, and skills across situations
  • Lead the Financial Accounting and Reporting Department to ensure effective and efficient service

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or related area) required
  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum three years of finance/accounting or public accounting/audit experience
  • Hospital Controller experience preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • CPA preferred
