Automotive Finance Manager (F&I Manager)

Nissan of Van Nuys and INFINITI of Van Nuys are hiring an experienced Automotive Finance Manager (F&I Manager) to support increased retail volume and strengthen end-to-end F&I performance. This onsite role in Sherman Oaks, CA emphasizes compliant customer presentations, strong back-end PVR and product penetration, lender performance, funding efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional, transparent, and compliant F&I presentations for every eligible customer.
• Increase back-end PVR using needs-based product presentations and disciplined menu selling.
• Arrange competitive financing across captive, prime, near-prime, and special-finance lender programs.
• Structure deals to support approval potential, profitability, funding efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong penetration for vehicle service contracts, GAP, maintenance, theft-protection, appearance-protection, and other dealership products.
• Process and review transactions through Reynolds & Reynolds DMS.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of contracts, disclosures, signatures, lender details, products, stipulations, and supporting documents.
• Maintain accurate deal status, customer communication, and follow-up activity in VinSolutions CRM.
• Ensure information flows correctly between VinSolutions, Reynolds, lender portals, electronic contracting systems, and the sales desk.
• Monitor PVR, product penetration, CIT, funding status, chargebacks, cancellations, missing documents, and deal discrepancies.
• Own each transaction from customer turnover through final funding.
• Partner with Sales Managers to improve deal structure, lender placement, approvals, and overall transaction flow.
• Protect customer information and follow privacy, safeguarding, and information-security requirements.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally while protecting dealership relationships and CSI.
• Support training for sales personnel on credit applications, lender requirements, product awareness, and proper deal documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Proven automotive F&I management experience.
• Verifiable history of strong back-end PVR and product penetration.
• Strong knowledge of indirect lending, credit analysis, lender programs, callbacks, and deal structuring.
• Working knowledge of automotive F&I compliance and California documentation requirements.
• Strong closing, presentation, communication, and objection-handling abilities.
• High document accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions while maintaining compliance, speed, and customer service.
• Reliable, punctual, professional conduct and ethical judgment.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Current California Vehicle Salesperson License or ability to obtain one before employment begins.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, month-end, and other high-volume periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of successful automotive F&I management experience.
• Franchised new-car dealership experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds DMS.
• Working knowledge of VinSolutions CRM.
• Experience with electronic contracting, lender portals, menu-selling platforms, and digital retail systems.
• Established experience with captive, prime, near-prime, and special-finance lenders.

Scheduling Requirement
