Job Description
The Chief Financial Officer will oversee the Medical Center’s financial strategy, lead core accounting and reimbursement functions, and coordinate budgeting and performance improvement planning across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Medical Center’s financial resources to support day-to-day operations and long-term needs.
- Supervise and coordinate reimbursement and budgeting-related functions, including:
- Budgeting and patient accounting
- General accounting
- General ledger accounting
- Accounts payable
- Cashiering
- Recommend budget planning guidelines to the Board of Directors.
- Coordinate the preparation of current operating and capital budgets for the Medical Center and Clinics.
- Present hospital-wide budgets to the CEO for review and to the Board for approval.
- Partner with leaders from the governing body, management, medical staff, and clinical areas to plan, promote, and conduct organization-wide Performance Improvement activities.
Requirements
- Healthcare Finance experience.
- CPSI experience is a plus.
