Chief Financial Officer/Controller

CityBus of Greater Lafayette is seeking a strategic financial leader to oversee all financial operations, from planning and analysis to budgeting, reporting, risk management, and compliance. This onsite role in Lafayette, IN partners directly with the CEO as a trusted partner on grants, funding, and future scenarios to inform the Board and shape the organization's long-term strategy.

Position Details

• Location: Lafayette, IN (onsite)
• Salary: USD 100,000 - 150,000 per year
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, from planning and analysis to budgeting, reporting, risk management, and compliance, ensuring fiscal responsibility and long-term sustainability.
• Serve as the CEO’s key business partner, interpreting the financial landscape and providing proactive insights on grants, funding, and future scenarios to inform leadership and the Board.
• Guide leadership and the Board through complex financial decisions with clarity and courage.
• Navigate public or government funding, grants, and regulatory requirements to strengthen the organization’s impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior financial management role.
