Job Description

The 2027 Commercial Banking Development Program - Credit Analyst role supports Credit Administration through credit analysis, financial data management, and reporting in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Credit Administration team by analyzing credit and collateral information to assess lending risk to customers.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze company financials to support Bank compliance and update Bank systems accordingly.
  • Partner with clients to address compliance issues and handle operational inquiries.
  • Review client financials and run sensitivity analysis to evaluate credit risk related to Bank structures.
  • Produce in-depth credit reports that include plans of action based on qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Coordinate with other Bank teams to support treasury management products, foreign exchange instruments, derivatives, and legal documentation.
  • Prepare loan packages for new and restructured loans.
  • Facilitate reporting and information requests with third parties, including field auditors and appraisers.
  • Monitor loan disbursements to help ensure compliance with Bank regulations.
  • Maintain financial background information for present and prospective customers and develop credit studies for Loan Officers, the Chief Credit Officer, and other executive leaders.
  • Manage spread assignments, perform financial analysis, and maintain supporting records and files.
  • Prepare a range of credit department reports.

Requirements

  • Completion of an Accounting course.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Interest in working in Commercial Banking.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
  • Entry-level speaking and writing communication skills.
