Credit Officer – Leasing/Asset Based Finance

This role supports Bank of America in delivering integrated credit solutions for Leasing and Asset Based Finance, with on-site responsibilities in Providence, RI. The position focuses on monitoring portfolios, analyzing financial statements, and contributing to end-to-end credit management within the Leasing portfolio.

Overview

The credit professional assists in providing client-focused credit solutions and ongoing portfolio oversight. Responsibilities include timely analysis of financial statements, assignment of risk ratings, and coordination with Credit Underwriters and Portfolio Management to sustain a sound leasing portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Data verification of new deals in source systems
• Monitor credit compliance and past-due exceptions; ensure data integrity; source financial statements and covenant compliance certificates
• Proactively follow up on credit monitoring activities to maintain a healthy credit portfolio

Requirements

• 1+ years of Commercial and/or Leasing credit experience
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook and related applications
• Ability to achieve objectives within a defined timeframe
• Demonstrates professional maturity
• Effective as both a team member and an independent contributor
