Executive Director of Financial Operations & Revenue Performance

Strategic executive finance leader responsible for healthcare financial systems, KPI-based performance reporting, and revenue cycle and reimbursement optimization across multiple campuses.

Responsibilities

• Build executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and monthly operating reports.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, financial analytics, and performance reporting.
• Drive revenue cycle optimization and develop reimbursement strategy.
• Partner with Business Office Managers to strengthen collections and overall financial performance.
• Lead strategic financial projects, process improvement, and operational initiatives.
• Support organizational growth across the Arlington Heights and Mundelein campuses.
• Report to executive leadership and collaborate with operations across multiple locations.

Requirements

• BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in healthcare finance, revenue cycle, FP&A, or financial operations.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial reporting and dashboard development.
• Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and executive-level financial reporting.
• Experience presenting executive-level financial reports.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree (preferred).
• CPA (preferred).
• HFMA (preferred).
• HMA (preferred).

Experience (Minimum)

• Revenue cycle management: 5 years (required).
• Financial analysis: 5 years (required).
• Healthcare management: 5 years (required).
