Job Description
Truckee Sanitary District offers a manager-level opportunity leading both finance and customer support operations as part of the District’s leadership team. What You’ll Do
The Finance and Admin Services Manager plans, manages, and directs the District’s finance and customer services operations. Reporting to the General Manager, this position oversees finance and administrative programs, projects, and special assignments, while coordinating closely with other departments to improve efficiency and service quality. The role also includes providing expert advice to District management and serving as a member of the District’s leadership team.

What You Bring
This is a role for experienced professionals with a strong public-sector background and demonstrated leadership capacity across finance and administration.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with major coursework in finance, business, or public administration, or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible financial and administrative program management experience
- Systems: Knowledge of financial information systems, including implementation experience with a financial system and related technology
- Leadership: High-level ability to select, train, supervise, motivate, develop, and evaluate staff
- Compliance: Ability to interpret, apply, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies
Ideal background includes a solid record in public agency finance and governmental accounting, along with extensive experience in public agency budget development and contract administration.
Compensation & Work Location
Location: In person, Truckee, CA.
Salary: USD 16,943 - 21,115 per monthly.
