Finance Manager

Starling Physicians is hiring a Finance Manager in Rocky Hill, CT (onsite). This role supports financial planning and budgeting through analysis, modeling, and clear reporting to leadership, while contributing to month-end closing and stronger financial processes. You’ll also be part of a team that values accuracy, insight, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you’ll do

• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information and help ensure data accuracy
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Evaluate and interpret financial data, translating findings into strategic recommendations for senior management
• Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership, emphasizing key insights and financial trends
• Track company financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Analyze financial and operational metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making
• Complete ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support critical business decisions
• Support the development and enhancement of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Help ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and applicable legal regulations

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (master’s degree or professional certification is a plus)
• 3+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role (healthcare experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of value-based care reimbursement models and alternative payment methodologies (APMs) in addition to traditional fee-for-service (FFS) structures (highly desirable)
• Excellent analytical skills
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and spreadsheet applications
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a detail-oriented approach to accuracy and precision
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs

Compensation and location

Salary range: USD 75,000 - 100,000 per year. Location: Rocky Hill, CT (onsite).
