Finance and Insurance Manager
Job Description
Sam Pierce Chevrolet is seeking a Finance and Insurance Manager to structure vehicle finance deals for customers with average to above credit, in line with lender guidelines and dealership policy. This onsite role in Daleville, IN emphasizes quick funding, accurate deal documentation, and maintaining strong customer satisfaction throughout the financing process.
Role Overview
The Business (Finance & Insurance Manager) manages the full flow of finance and insurance activities, from credit interviews and lender submissions to funding package reviews and deal completion. You will ensure that deals are built correctly, handle lender communications with diligence, and keep documentation, logs, and customer information properly maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Know, implement, and follow dealership policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized office.
- Communicate problem deals to management immediately.
- Address missing stipulations from lenders as soon as they are identified.
- Maintain professional ethics and treat customers respectfully.
- Stay current on state regulations related to finance and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
- Interact with appropriate departments to support deal completion.
- Train and supervise sales staff on changes in regulations and the FCRA.
- Structure deals according to lender and dealership guidelines.
- Book out deals accurately and never misrepresent equipment.
- Conduct credit interviews, prepare credit applications, and verify all material information for accuracy prior to lender submission.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
- Disclose financial information to customers.
- Sell vehicle service contracts and other related products.
- Maintain good relationships with lenders.
- Keep a lender guide of active programs, maintain working knowledge, and evaluate new lender programs.
- Review deals with lenders and work all deals diligently.
- Maintain a current inventory log and recommend next steps to management, including help moving old inventory.
- Maintain a call-in log and contracts in transit log (funding package), and review funding packages prior to mailing.
- Show and demonstrate vehicles when necessary.
- Analyze credit reports, recognize conventional deals, and turn over accordingly.
- Properly cost special finance deals by preparing profit sheets.
- Receipt deposits immediately.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports as requested by management.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 2 years recommended as an F&I Manager or assistant.
- Excellent math and computer skills.
Compensation and Location
- Location: Daleville, IN (onsite)
- Salary: USD 120,000 to 180,000 per year
