Finance Associate Analyst, Launch Program 2027
Job Description
Join Mastercard’s Finance division through an 18-month Launch Program designed to build practical FP&A expertise with hands-on work, structured learning, and mentorship from industry leaders. This onsite role in Harrison, NY supports real business challenges across budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and leadership reporting, with direct supervision from the FP&A team.
What you’ll do
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support short- and long-term planning.
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting to leadership.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles by consolidating financial and operational data across business units.
- Help build and maintain basic tools and reports while completing defined financial and budget-related tasks under FP&A leadership supervision.
- Prepare and analyze internal and external financial reports.
- Monitor revenue and expenses while managing risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that improve business performance and efficiency.
Skills and experience
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or accelerated graduate program graduating Dec 2026 to June 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate, Operations, Data Analytics or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn findings into clear insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and PPT); experience with financial modeling, reporting, or data visualization tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on details.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize for different audiences.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and build productive working relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious and proactive approach, comfortable asking questions, learning new tools, and solving problems independently.
- Innovation mindset, including openness to tools such as Copilot or other AI-enabled productivity solutions.

Compensation and benefits
Salary: USD 80,000 per year (fixed).
