Job Description
Sentara Healthcare seeks a Finance Consultant to support financial, analytical and business management activities across assigned departments in a hybrid Virginia Beach, VA setting.
Responsibilities
- Provides financial, analytical and business management consulting support for a group of assigned departments or business units.
- Analyzes monthly revenue and expense statements.
- Performs revenue analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Conducts product line and case mix analysis to inform strategies.
- Supports budgeting processes and budget optimization efforts.
- Develops benchmarking analyses to compare performance against peers.
- Produces ad hoc reports to support decision-making.
- Evaluates new programs and initiatives for viability and impact.
- Conducts feasibility analyses to assess potential projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of experience in accounting/finance
