Job Description

The Finance Manager role at Asbury Automotive Group is an onsite position in Aurora, Colorado focusing on the financial aspects of vehicle purchases. The analyst coordinates with lenders for approvals, prepares financing documents, and advises staff on DMV regulations. The role also emphasizes building guest relationships and presenting finance and insurance options. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 per year and requires at least one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team and customers to guide the financing portion of the vehicle purchase.
  • Establish rapport with guests to create a referral-based network.
  • Advise guests on financing and insurance options and present warranties when appropriate.
  • Prepare and submit accurate paperwork for title processing and fund approvals in a timely manner.
  • Aim to meet monthly performance targets.
  • Ensure timely submission of guest paperwork to lenders and accounting.
  • Manage guest funds during the transaction and remit to accounting.
  • Comply with local and national regulations and brief the sales team on current or changing state laws affecting vehicle purchases.
  • Coordinate with service advisors to assist guests with extended warranties when needed.
  • Build and maintain strong guest relationships and uphold a solid reputation with lenders and vendors.
  • Present a clear finance and insurance menu, explaining warranty packages.
  • Assist sales professionals in explaining lending options and warranties to guests as required.
  • Develop relationships with local and national bank and manufacturer representatives, meeting with them monthly.
  • Demonstrate advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office and dealership management systems.
  • Maintain attention to detail and organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Apply strategic thinking to find solutions for each customer when needed.
  • Be self-motivated and a collaborative team member.
  • A Colorado Sales License is required.
  • Understand tag and title laws and DMV regulations.
  • 1 to 3 years of prior automotive sales consultant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of high-quality customer service ratings.
  • Spanish language proficiency is strongly encouraged.
  • Must pass pre-employment screenings, including background and drug tests.
