Job Description
Connections Health Solutions is hiring a Finance Manager to lead core FP&A execution and help modernize the finance function. This fully remote role supports senior leadership and cross-functional teams across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial modeling, with an emphasis on improving speed, accuracy, and decision-making through AI and automation.
What you’ll do
- Own core FP&A execution, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end close support, executive reporting, financial modeling, and business performance analysis, partnering with the VP, Finance to modernize finance operations through AI, automation, and scalable processes.
- Build and maintain detailed financial and operational models that support the annual budget, rolling forecast, and long-range financial plan.
- Integrate actual financial results into forecasting and planning models.
- Support the VP of Finance with financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Develop baseline and worst-case cash flow scenarios to support financial decision-making.
- Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities affecting organizational performance.
- Manage monthly financial reporting and budget-to-actual variance analysis, delivering clear insights to leadership.
- Partner with Accounting to support a timely and accurate month-end close, and prepare monthly financial reporting packages.
- Analyze variances and provide narrative explanations tied to key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations for senior and executive leadership.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to improve process accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Design and implement automated workflows using Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and other AI-enabled solutions.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to improve finance operations and eliminate manual work.
- Partner with Revenue Cycle (RCM) and market leadership to analyze revenue performance, collections trends, and improvement opportunities; monitor revenue and collections performance and surface emerging trends.
- Support improved center margins by partnering with market leaders to understand financial results and identify opportunities.
- Partner with Operations and Clinical Leadership to evaluate staffing models and translate workforce plans into financial impact, analyzing staffing levels, productivity, and labor costs versus financial targets.
- Act as a strategic finance partner to market operators and cross-functional leaders, translating business strategies and operational priorities into financial plans and measurable objectives.
- Build and maintain performance metrics and KPIs across revenue, labor, productivity, and operating margins; provide regular reporting and insights to leadership for performance management and decision-making.
- Communicate financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 3+ years in Corporate Finance / FP&A, investment banking, or a related analytical field, ideally in a high-growth or multi-entity environment.
- 3+ years of manager/supervisor experience.
- Recent, hands-on experience implementing AI and automation tools in a finance or accounting setting.
- Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills, with advanced Excel proficiency and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Extreme attention to detail with a focus on precision and auditability.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to influence decisions and build trusted relationships with senior and executive leadership.
- A proactive, results-driven approach with high autonomy.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities.

Nice to have
- 5+ years of manager/supervisory experience.
- Healthcare experience, especially in multi-site healthcare.
- Experience with Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, and/or Tipalti, and data-visualization tools.
- Exposure to county/municipal funding, FFS revenue, and capitated arrangements.
- People-leadership or mentoring experience.
- Experience in venture-backed, private-equity-backed, or other high-growth environments.
- CPA or CFA.
