Job Description
City Wide Auto Credit seeks a Finance Manager / Desk Manager to lead the dealership’s financing operations in Genoa, Ohio. In this role, you will oversee the full loan lifecycle, cultivate strong client relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance while pursuing upsell opportunities to boost profitability in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete automotive loan process, including credit analysis, transaction structuring, and title processing to ensure timely deal completion.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and personalized service, with upselling of financing and insurance products.
- Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable loan terms while ensuring compliance with all loan regulations such as TILA and dealership policies.
- Direct transaction structuring to maximize deal profitability while adhering to industry standards and legal requirements.
- Ensure all financial documents, contracts, and regulatory paperwork meet compliance standards related to automotive sales industry regulations and financial regulatory laws.
- Utilize financial software systems for efficient loan processing, credit analysis, and client data management.
- Provide regular training on regulatory updates, credit analysis techniques, and dealership sales strategies to foster team development.
- Maintain precise records of all transactions, ensuring accuracy in math calculations and 10-key data entry involved in deal structuring.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify upselling opportunities that enhance revenue while delivering excellent customer service.
- Monitor compliance with loan regulations including TILA disclosures and title processing procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial services within the automotive or dealership industry, including loan officer or finance management roles.
- Strong knowledge of automotive sales industry regulations, financial compliance standards, and credit analysis techniques.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, client communication, and relationship management to foster trust and loyalty.
- Familiarity with financial software such as CDK or equivalent dealership management systems for transaction processing and record keeping.
- Excellent math skills including basic calculations for deal structuring, credit assessments, and contract details; proficiency in 10-key typing is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of automotive financing products including insurance options like F&I (Finance & Insurance).
- Ability to interpret complex contracts and legal documents related to loans and titles accurately.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining compliance documentation and transaction records.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to upselling additional products or services that benefit clients.
