Job Description

Diversified Maintenance is looking for a Financial Analyst to support strategic decision-making through rigorous financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Based in Tampa, FL onsite, this role helps guide planning, investment-related evaluations, and continuous improvements to financial controls and systems.

What you can expect

In this position, you will build and refine financial models, partner with leadership on budgets and performance reviews, and communicate insights in a clear, business-friendly way. You will also contribute to more efficient, accurate financial processes by evaluating and improving internal controls and financial systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop complex models to project future financial performance and analyze key business drivers
  • Prepare annual budgets and conduct monthly reviews comparing actual results to forecasts, including identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Advise management on investment decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and financial risks
  • Create, present, and interpret monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership
  • Evaluate and improve internal financial controls and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related finance and accounting fields
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP systems including Oracle and WinTeam
  • Strong analytical thinking and complex problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly communicate findings to non-financial stakeholders
  • Business-level oral and written communication skills; ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments
  • Excellent customer service and active listening skills
  • Ability to lead and encourage teamwork, along with skills to negotiate and resolve conflict

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Bilingual ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish, French, or other languages
  • Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
  • Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
  • Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
