Job Description

The Financial Business Partner provides strategic financial leadership for Terminix Rentokil functions through planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual strategic and financial plans for assigned functions, aligning profit targets and operational efficiency with longer-term growth goals.
  • Review monthly financial results (revenue, profit, expenses) with function leadership and recommend corrective actions to address plan variances.
  • Communicate material changes to forecast or budget as soon as they are known.
  • Lead financial modelling for new strategic initiatives, product pipelines, financing transactions, and technology initiatives.
  • Analyze and improve business processes to strengthen controls and ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and authority limits.
  • Support the final roll-up and submission of the RNA Annual Operating Plan.
  • Support the RNA Monthly Performance Review package.
  • Identify process improvements to increase consistency, transparency, and reliability of RNA reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc analyses as the business evolves to financially evaluate new initiatives.
  • Offer guidance on policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial law and company philosophy.
  • Ensure security and integrity of Rentokil North America's financial information.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with leaders and act as a partner on all financial decisions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong customer focus with demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, setting priorities and objectives with leadership support.
  • Skilled at focusing on what matters, determining urgency, outlining next steps, and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills capable of building relationships across all levels of the organization (from SVP to front-line).
  • History of developing executive-level dashboards that present clear, concise business results.
  • Strong ability to analyze financial results and manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional computer skills with a range of financial software and expert Excel capabilities.
  • Ability to present in front of senior executives.
  • Detail-oriented and eager to adapt and drive change.

The Financial Business Partner is responsible for financial planning, annual forecasts, monthly and quarterly projections, and historical financial analysis to support informed decision-making.
