Financial Counselor and collector

The Financial Counselor and collector position is a front-facing role in Covina, CA, supporting patients as they navigate financial assistance and payment options related to hospital services. The work includes meeting with patients, guiding applications, and helping identify available resources to support reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with patients to review financial obligations and available assistance options.
• Support patients with Medi-Cal, Medicaid, and other financial aid applications.
• Identify and secure all available sources of financial assistance.
• Assist with maximizing reimbursement for hospital services.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and provide support to patients throughout the process.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Medi-Cal and Medicaid.
• Previous healthcare financial counseling, patient access, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort working directly with patients in a hospital setting.

Work Location and Schedule

• Location: Covina, CA (onsite)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Compensation and Employment Type

• Pay: USD 25 per hourly
• Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
