Healthcare Financial and Performance Analyst

Medcare Clinics is hiring a Healthcare Financial and Performance Analyst in Houston to drive revenue cycle and financial performance insights through reporting, analysis, and compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth financial analysis across healthcare revenue cycles, costs, and reimbursements to spot trends and improvement opportunities.
• Create, update, and maintain performance dashboards and reports covering key financial and operational metrics.
• Partner with clinical and administrative teams to interpret financial data and deliver actionable insights.
• Track adherence to billing, coding, and reimbursement policies to support revenue collection optimization.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning by providing accurate, data-driven analysis.
• Detect financial risk or inefficiency areas and propose strategies for mitigation.
• Keep current on industry regulations, coding updates, and best practices in healthcare finance analytics.
• Assist with implementing new financial systems or tools to enhance data accuracy and reporting capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business analytics, healthcare administration, economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in healthcare financial or revenue cycle analytics.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, including Excel and SQL, plus specialized healthcare analytics software.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex financial data into clear insights.
• Knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, reimbursement processes, and compliance standards.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
