Interim Corporate Finance Director (Health Plan Experience)

Interim role based in Wausau, WI (in person) supporting the corporate finance function while partnering closely with leadership. You will help keep payroll operations running smoothly, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficient processes. This position reports directly to the President of Corporate Finance, giving you direct visibility into corporate priorities.

What you will do

In this interim assignment, you will oversee the day-to-day payroll operations and ensure the team’s processes consistently meet required standards. The goal is to maintain payroll accuracy, support compliance expectations, and improve operational efficiency across the payroll workflow.

• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all payroll processes

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
• Master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• 5 to 10 years of health plan experience in financial analysis activities, including forecasting and budgeting
• Minimum of five years of experience in financial management, investment management, and debt financing, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Insurance and/or healthcare industry experience

Compensation and work location

Pay: $850.00 - $900.00 per day
