Manager, Program Finance

On-site opportunity in Wilmington, MA, leading program finance across two portfolios within the Space Superiority Division and partnering with Program Managers and cross-functional teams to plan, analyze, and report financials that keep contracts within negotiated parameters and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staff delivering program finance processes and deliverables.
• Partners with Program Managers and functional teams to establish and maintain the program's financial plan, perform analyses, and generate reports that ensure contracts stay within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines.
• Develops budgets for contract work and conducts or supports analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks, and variance analyses.
• Performs detailed financial analyses to reveal cost and schedule health and to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Interprets weekly and monthly performance data to provide early indicators of program health.
• Monitors adherence to the approved budget.
• Owns monthly financial forecasting and long-range planning for the programs, focusing on orders, revenue, profit, and cash flow.
• Drives program operational targets to influence overall division results.
• Communicates financial information to program management and cross-functional teammates, explaining data and interpretation.
• Supports development and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and budget.
• Leads program financial processes including EVMS, CDRL preparation, and financial forecasting.
• Prepares weekly and monthly program financial reports.
• Analyses program cost and billing details.
• Advises program management and cross-functional teammates on adherence to Finance policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Owns the team's execution of program finance deliverables, including EVMS, CDRLs, ERP system management, financial forecasting, and process improvement objectives.
• Provides financial analysis for audits and other financial activities.
• Trains, supervises, supports, and develops Program Financial Analysts (PFAs).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of related experience; Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
