Regional Finance Coordinator
Job Description
Centers Health Care is seeking a Regional Finance Coordinator in Binghamton, NY to support and oversee financial operations for Skilled Nursing Facilities across Upstate New York. In this onsite role, you will help drive consistent financial performance by tracking revenue cycle activity, strengthening policy compliance, and working closely with facility leadership.
You will manage a regional portfolio, partner with key stakeholders, and use financial analysis to spot risks and opportunities early. The position also emphasizes coaching and education for Business Office Managers and facility teams to support sustainable operational results.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial performance for a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities within the region
- Partner with Administrators, DONs, and facility leadership to improve financial and operational outcomes
- Monitor revenue cycle performance, including billing, collections, and reimbursement processes
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and internal controls
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, and develop action plans accordingly
- Provide coaching and financial education to Business Office Managers and facility leadership
Required Qualifications
- SNF experience
- Ability to travel regularly throughout Upstate New York
- Experience overseeing financial performance across multiple healthcare facilities
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and SNF reimbursement models
- High comfort level working with executive and facility leadership teams
- Analytical, detailed, and organized working style
- Good communication skills
Location and Compensation
- Location: Binghamton, NY (onsite)
- Salary: USD 85,000 to 115,000 per year
