Job Description
Sandisk’s Consumer Marketing Finance team in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a trusted partner in steering planning, forecasting, and analytical work that powers core consumer business objectives. This onsite role connects with senior stakeholders to translate financial data into actionable insights that inform marketing campaigns, pricing decisions, and investment trade-offs.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted finance advisor to business leaders, delivering insights to support marketing campaigns, strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and investment trade-offs
- Own end-to-end financial planning and forecasting for designated business areas, covering annual operating plans, quarterly outlooks, and long-range plans
- Develop and maintain revenue, margin, and ROI models that incorporate key drivers and scenario analysis
- Lead the preparation of executive-level financial reviews with dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting supported by clear financial narratives
- Oversee month-end and quarter-end analyses to ensure accuracy, insight, and alignment with internal controls and reporting standards
- Conduct in-depth variance analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicate root causes and implications to senior leadership
- Identify, design, and implement process, control, and tooling improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives and special projects, including financial systems implementations and business process enhancements
- Prepare complex ad hoc analyses to support senior management decision-making and time-sensitive business needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience with demonstrated growth; FP&A experience required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance management
- Ability to independently manage complex deliverables and multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Proven capability to translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights for senior and executive audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence without authority
- Track record of process improvement, control enhancement, and analytical rigor
- High attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective
