Senior Financial Analyst, R2L Sub Same Day - Delivery Finance

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the R2L Sub Same Day (SSD) Delivery Finance team on site in Nashville, TN. This role centers on reconciliation, process improvements, and analyses of major business events, collaborating with finance and operations to enhance performance, scalability, and long-term profitability. The position offers a salary range of USD 66,900 to 117,100 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Identifies core control risks, assesses impact, proposes enhancements, and implements remediation to close gaps
• Supports the weekly and monthly financial close processes
• Leverages financial systems and advanced Excel to analyze large data sets
• Works with multiple data sources, detects incomplete or inaccurate data, uncovers root causes, escalates discrepancies, and corrects data or coordinates a fix
• Communicates data insights clearly in written and verbal form, tailoring presentation style to different audiences
• Identifies and implements solutions to resolve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance workflows
• Invests in personal development within the Finance Community by participating in events and projects and sharing learnings with the team
• Contributes to a positive, collaborative work environment and acts as a constructive influencer to new team members

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
• At least 3 years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
• Bachelor's degree required
