Senior Manufacturing Finance Director

iKey, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Finance Director to lead and direct core finance and accounting activities for a manufacturing operation based in Austin, TX. This onsite role partners closely with executive leadership and oversees reporting, month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, tax and banking administration, and day-to-day financial performance tracking.

In this position, you will drive timely, accurate financial reporting and help standardize performance measures that support improved site results. The role also includes managing key finance processes tied to inventory, accounts receivable, collections, payroll administration, and project cost visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate daily reports, including Sales Backlog, Incoming Orders, Sales MTD, Avg Ship Per Day, and Working Days Daily Sales & Order Report
• Generate quarterly reports
• Lead month-end close, including General Ledger reconciliation and Bank account reconciliation within the ERP system
• Handle prepaid inventory activities
• Create and maintain financial statements
• Manage Freeport Exemption and Sales and Use Tax Remissions for applicable states
• Advise the CEO and Management Committee on all aspects of company finances
• Own tax-related matters and related responsibilities
• Manage all banking relationships
• Oversee payroll, including associated tax and benefits
• Manage collections teams to optimize cash flow and reduce overdue receivables
• Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes
• Support the project management process with up-to-date project costs and a comprehensive forecast of costs to complete on all projects
• Provide timely and accurate reporting of financial performance for the business
• Develop and implement standardized performance measures to improve site financial performance
• Supervise accounts receivable procedures

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience working in Finance in manufacturing companies
• 5 years of experience and demonstrated expertise using an ERP system at 100%
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
• CPA
• Ability to communicate confidently with a busy, active CEO
• Actively engage with the company and all personnel
• Excellent communication, writing, managerial, organizational, and people skills
• Proven ability to initiate, innovate, and influence change; drive process improvements and provide sound solutions to complex and routine business issues
• Prior experience in a fast-paced environment where priorities change regularly and steady state is rarely achieved
• Unquestioned integrity and moral character that aligns with iKey’s high expectations
