Job Description

As a Talent Manager in San Ramon, you will help grow Robert Half’s business by partnering with clients in accounting and finance while matching finance and accounting professionals to contract and contract-to-full-time opportunities. The role combines client development, recruiting, and ongoing engagement support.

Role Overview

Talent Managers at Robert Half negotiate and develop business with new and current clients, then recruit and match qualified finance and accounting professionals for contract projects and contract-to-full-time opportunities. You will also manage ongoing engagements, maintain candidate communication, provide career guidance, and support local networking efforts to strengthen Robert Half’s presence in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and develop business with new and current clients.
  • Market Robert Half’s services through telephone, video, and in-person meetings with hiring managers and decision-makers in accounting and finance departments.
  • Recruit, interview, and match accounting and finance professionals to client projects, contract assignments, and contract-to-full-time opportunities.
  • Manage ongoing engagements to deliver service excellence for both clients and candidates.
  • Provide ongoing communication and career guidance to candidates.
  • Participate in local trade association and networking events to increase Robert Half’s visibility in the local business community.

Required Qualifications

  • Accounting/Finance/Business Administration degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of finance, accounting, or banking experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of business development experience in a metrics driven environment.
  • Demonstrated success developing new business in a multi-call, multi-decision maker environment.
  • Prior success marketing to and closing top-level decision makers at small/medium sized businesses, along with a record of cultivating mutually beneficial long term relationships.
  • Working knowledge of the Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience with a contact management application such as Salesforce.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with accounting and finance department operations.
  • Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach.

Compensation

  • Location: San Ramon, CA (onsite)
  • Base salary range: USD 70,304 to 94,000 per year
  • Negotiability: Salary is negotiable based on experience and location.
  • Bonus: The role is eligible for a bonus based on achievement of performance objectives.
