Talent Manager (Finance & Accounting Contract Talent)
Job Description
Robert Half is hiring a Talent Manager to grow finance and accounting client relationships and recruit contract and contract-to-full-time talent in Salt Lake City, UT (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and develop business with new and current clients.
- Market Robert Half services via telephone, video, and in-person meetings with hiring managers and decision-makers in accounting and finance departments.
- Recruit, interview, and match highly skilled accounting and finance professionals to clients’ projects, contract assignments, and contract-to-full-time opportunities.
- Manage ongoing engagements to support outstanding customer service for both clients and candidates.
- Maintain ongoing communication and provide career guidance to candidates.
- Attend local trade association and networking events to increase Robert Half’s presence in the local business community.
Requirements
- Degree preferred: Accounting/Finance/Business Administration degree.
- Experience preferred: 1+ years in finance, accounting, or banking.
- Business development: 2+ years of experience in a metrics-driven environment.
- New business: Demonstrated success developing new business in a multi-call, multi-decision maker environment.
- Decision-maker sales: Proven success marketing to and closing top-level decision makers at small/medium-sized businesses.
- Relationship building: Ability to cultivate mutually beneficial long-term relationships.
- Technology: Working knowledge of Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, plus experience with a contact management application such as Salesforce.
- Domain knowledge: Knowledge and familiarity with accounting and finance department operations.
- Work style: Positive attitude and an engaging, businesslike approach.
