Accounting & Finance Manager

PJL Enterprise is seeking an Accounting & Finance Manager in Escanaba, MI to support day-to-day financial operations across multiple businesses. In this onsite role, you will manage core accounting functions, oversee AP/AR and reconciliations, and contribute to monthly reporting, cash flow monitoring, and payroll accounting. You will also partner directly with ownership and management while working to strengthen accounting systems, controls, and processes.

The position offers an annual salary range of USD 55,000 to 65,000, with a work schedule that includes flexibility and time off.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting activities across multiple businesses
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting
• Coordinate payroll accounting and related reporting
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues
• Work directly with ownership and management
• Help improve accounting systems, controls, and internal processes

Required Qualifications

• Strong accounting knowledge and hands-on experience
• QuickBooks Online experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Accounting or finance degree preferred; relevant experience will be considered
• CPA not required
