Area Sales Manager – Non-Prime Auto Finance

Strike Acceptance is seeking a remote Area Sales Manager to lead non-prime auto finance dealership growth and ongoing dealer performance in a Bakersfield, California territory. This role focuses on building relationships, signing and servicing dealer partners, and supporting dealers in structuring deals within the program.

Role Overview

This position serves as the primary ambassador for Strike Acceptance in the Bakersfield market. The Area Sales Manager will work on the ground with dealers through frequent visits and daily calls, aiming to expand the approved dealer network and help sustain program results by monitoring performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Strike Acceptance as the face of the brand in the Bakersfield market and establish and grow relationships with dealership partners.
• Build the market by signing new dealers and servicing existing dealers.
• Support dealers in understanding what does and does not work when structuring deals under the program, while noting that the role does not include official credit authority.
• Work remotely within an assigned geographic territory, conducting frequent quality dealer visits and calls on a daily basis.
• Meet or exceed monthly goals tied to funding and dealer sign-ups, while maintaining a high level of customer service with quality dealer partners.
• Monitor ongoing dealer performance, including efficiency, delinquency and losses, and profitability, to support a strong and growing partnership.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in dealer relationship management, field credit analysis, or branch management within non-prime auto finance.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Dealer Relationship Manager in the Non-Prime Auto Finance space.
• Residence in or near the Bakersfield market with an existing dealer base.
• Ability to ramp up quickly with minimal training and maintain strong self-motivation.
• Valid license and auto insurance, and reliable transportation for visiting 8-10 dealers per day.
• Comfort working from a home-based office, with at least 80% travel within the market and occasional overnight travel.
• Detail orientation, high organization, and a driven work style.

Compensation and Job Type

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: USD 70,000 - 100,000 per year
