Job Description

The Assistant Director of Finance at Bishop's Lodge, Auberge Collection, onsite in Santa Fe, NM, leads financial strategy development and the budgeting process, guiding the finance team to deliver actionable insights and support sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy forward-looking financial strategies to support sustainable growth, coordinating budgets, forecasts, and comprehensive financial plans.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations across all financial activities, and supervise the preparation of precise, timely financial reports.
  • Partner with department leaders to design and monitor budgets, refining financial instruments to optimize resource allocation.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks through foresight and sound financial judgment to protect the organization from potential pitfalls.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering growth and a collaborative, productive work environment that supports organizational success.

Requirements

  • Hospitality accounting experience preferred.
  • A combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to read, assemble, analyze integrated spreadsheets and complex data.
  • Effective management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by operational needs.
