Job Description
The Director of Finance at Secure Financial Group oversees financial operations, ensures regulatory compliance, optimizes performance, and guides strategic decisions for senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the finance department, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Design and execute financial policies, processes, and internal controls to protect assets and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Offer strategic financial analysis to senior management, assess performance, identify risks and opportunities, and propose improvement actions.
- Supervise the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and present results to stakeholders.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity, and oversee capital allocation to optimize performance and support business objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, boost efficiency, and drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments to inform strategy and mitigate risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA credential required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, particularly in the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of strategic financial planning, analysis, and execution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
