Director of Finance

Accudyn Products Inc. is hiring a Director of Finance to lead finance planning, reporting, analysis, compliance, and team development on-site in Erie, PA.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives to support fiscal discipline and risk mitigation
• Oversee accounting operations across corporate accounting, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and technical accounting under IAS and IFRS
• Manage financial reporting, including preparation of accurate financial statements, regulatory reports, and executive-ready financial analysis
• Lead treasury activities such as cash flow analysis, investment oversight, accounts payable/receivable, and liquidity planning to optimize resources
• Build and refine financial projection models using advanced data analytics tools to forecast performance and guide strategic decisions
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements, industry regulations, and internal control policies
• Drive risk analysis to surface financial vulnerabilities and implement risk management strategies
• Direct budgeting and cost controls, including profit & loss analysis and cost accounting practices to maximize profitability
• Promote continuous improvement through finance leadership, staff development, and process optimization

Requirements

• Extensive experience in finance leadership roles with a demonstrated track record in financial management, including director or senior managerial experience in finance or accounting
• Strong knowledge of industry-specific accounting and reporting requirements, including IAS, IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606, plus governmental and non-profit accounting standards
• Expertise in corporate finance functions such as investment management, risk analysis, fiscal planning, and cost control strategy
• Proficiency with financial software systems and strong Excel skills for complex financial modeling and reporting
• Ability to interpret complex financial reports accurately and provide clear insights for executive decision-making
• Proven leadership capability managing diverse teams in a fast-paced environment, with experience motivating staff toward shared goals
• Strategic and analytical approach to developing forward-looking financial projection models that support growth initiatives
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels
