Director of Finance- Home Health/Home Care

The Director of Finance will oversee the financial operations for Northeast Professional Home Care, a growing home health and home care provider based onsite in Canton, Ohio. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on financial management, serving as a trusted advisor to the executive team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FP&A activities, including the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Manage accounting operations and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
• Formulate financial strategies aligned with the organization’s objectives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations
• Monitor financial risk and maintain robust internal controls
• Produce internal and external financial statements and reports
• Analyze trends and performance metrics to inform leadership decisions
• Enhance financial systems, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
• Minimum 3 years of financial leadership experience in home health, home care, or healthcare revenue cycle management
• Hands-on experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer reimbursement models
• Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow
• Strong knowledge of healthcare financial compliance and audit readiness
• Proven ability to lead finance teams and partner with executive leadership
