Finance Consultant

Finance Consultant role based in Cary, NC (onsite) to support dealership F&I performance, customer financing workflows, and sales consultant training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a successful F&I (finance and insurance) operation
• Ensure every buyer is given the opportunity to purchase appropriate financing, payment protection, and other supported products/services for the vehicle selected
• Operate a follow-up process to collect one pay contracts and outstanding titles
• Drive and maintain high customer satisfaction scores
• Process, review, and analyze customer credit reports
• Run customer credit reports that include detailed credit history and confidential consumer data
• Analyze credit history to determine the probability of the bank accepting the customer’s credit application
• Maintain current knowledge of finance and insurance products and manufacturer policies
• Train and manage sales consultants on F&I-related products and paperwork
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and create and maintain relationships with industry contacts
• Assist desk managers as needed

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 2–5 years of experience as a dealership automotive finance manager (preferred)
• Ability to provide excellent customer service alongside strong organization
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
