Job Description
Finance Director role at Cass County Medical Care Facility in Cassopolis, MI (onsite), overseeing day-to-day Financial Department operations and providing fiscal, operations, and nonprofit management expertise.
Responsibilities
- Ensure sufficient cash flow, reduced operating costs, and increased revenues.
- Provide reconciliations, account analyses, and other information to aid in the preparation of financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Prepare the annual budget.
- Support the payroll function.
- Serve in an advisor role to the Facility Chief Executive Officer.
- Act as a detailed problem solver who can diagnose a problem, design a solution, and implement a process with departmental staff.
- Ensure compliance with established financial policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 3 years of management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Master’s degree or CPS preferred.
- Must be highly proficient in Excel and accounting software.
