Finance Manager

Finance Manager role providing financial leadership, direction and analysis to the functional management team, driving key metrics, controlling costs and partnering with finance leadership to advance business goals and shareholder value.

Responsibilities

• Strategic analysis and problem solving: develop a deep understanding of the business, identify and implement process and organizational improvements, plan and execute department objectives, participate in annual budget development, monitor monthly expenditures, and verify that budgetary goals are met; review monthly metrics to ensure goals are achieved.
• Conduct financial planning for the function and present appropriate recommendations.
• Lead, plan, and coordinate work teams to perform financial activities efficiently; use metrics to track performance and manage workload; ensure operational processes comply with established policies.
• Drive key functional financial metrics across the organization.
• Project management: build and sustain a strategic alliance with business partners; participate in cross-functional activities to solve business issues and strengthen competitive advantage; facilitate cross-functional communication with Finance, Human Resources, Real Estate, Operations, and Information Systems.

Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience.

Direct Reports & Reporting

• Typically reports to a Director level.
• This position has no direct reports.

Travel

• Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Physical: majority of time spent sitting in a comfortable position with occasional movement; lifting light articles is rare.
• Working conditions: located in a comfortable indoor environment; any unpleasant conditions are infrequent and not objectionable.

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum years of experience: 5 years.
