Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Assess customer need for auto financing by interviewing clients and outlining payment options
• Validate purchase details by reviewing sales contracts, coordinating with the sales team, and making adjustments as necessary
• Evaluate creditworthiness through credit applications, credit reports, and data analysis aligned with internal standards; coordinate with lenders, underwriters, and processors; obtain stipulations when required; approve or deny loans
• Prepare transaction documents including loan agreements and DMV registrations
• Explain contract terms, finance charges, and interest rates to customers to ensure understanding of the financing details
• Promote and explain auto insurance, credit insurance, extended warranties, anti theft devices, and appearance protection options, including premiums and provisions
• Uphold dealership reputation by building trust with customers, resolving questions and discrepancies, maintaining CSI targets, and ensuring regulatory compliance

Requirements

• 2+ years in automotive finance and insurance
• Process finance and lease deals accurately through lenders to secure approvals
• Provide customers with clear explanations of manufacturer and dealership procedures, policies, and aftermarket products
• Handle all federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transactions
• Understand and comply with applicable regulations affecting new and used vehicle finance departments
• Complete vehicle sales and lease paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
• Verify title, lien information, taxes, and related items before forwarding documents to accounting
