Financial Analyst
Job Description
The Financial Analyst role supports decision-making through detailed analysis of production and sales performance, including profitability review and forecasting support for cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze production and sales financial data, including calculation of SKU, customer, and business segment profitability, while identifying price, volume, and mix impacts
- Review financial results and perform variance analysis to support forecasting and planning
- Prepare pro forma analysis to support new business proposals and evaluation efforts
- Gather, prepare, and review weekly and monthly financial reports to track financial status and share relevant information with involved parties
- Support development of the annual operating plan
- Analyze financial performance versus industry benchmarks and provide performance recommendations
- Develop, maintain, and distribute ad hoc analysis and financial models as requested
- Partner with cross-functional teams to verify internal and external data to support 100% data and analysis accuracy
- Perform additional relevant duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or another related discipline from an accredited institution
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in manufacturing cost methodologies; 3+ years of financial analysis or accounting experience preferred
- Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate with internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), with strong attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues efficiently
- Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Self-starter with strong initiative and urgency, able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
- Customer-centric attitude, high energy, and a strong sense of urgency

- This role may supervise a team of hourly and/or professional accounting personnel

Location and Work Setting
Onsite role in Flowood, MS.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other related discipline.
