Financial Analyst

Neighborhood Ventures is seeking a Financial Analyst to support accurate, timely reporting across a growing property portfolio. Based in Phoenix, AZ (in person), this role focuses on keeping the month-end close running smoothly, maintaining reliable accounting records for multiple LLCs, and helping ensure owners and investors receive distributions on schedule.

What you will do

• Prepare and complete monthly financial statements for each property and LLC as part of the month-end close process
• Reconcile project bank accounts and resolve discrepancies before close to support clean reporting
• Review and enter property management reports into the accounting system to keep records current
• Prepare and process monthly owner and investor distributions tied to the financial reporting cycle
• Maintain project budgets and report variances to the team weekly
• Track and categorize company card purchases across all accounts
• Coordinate with lenders on draw requests for active renovation projects
• Support procurement by coordinating supplies at the best available cost and aligning delivery with suppliers

What you bring

• Experience with month-end close, account reconciliation, or property-level accounting (real estate background is a plus)
• Comfort managing the books for multiple entities/LLCs at the same time
• Strong Excel skills and preferred experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, AppFolio, Yardi, or similar tools
• High attention to detail with consistent follow-through on monthly deadlines
• Clear communication skills to coordinate with lenders, vendors, and internal team members
