Financial Coordinator

Scenic Faculty Medical Group, based in Modesto, California, is seeking a meticulous Financial Coordinator to manage core financial functions for a small medical practice. The role encompasses payroll processing, benefits enrollment, tax filings, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting, alongside accounts receivable oversight and onboarding of new staff and contractors. You will collaborate with tax accountants and banking representatives to ensure accuracy and compliance, onsite in Modesto with an attractive hourly pay range.

Compensation

Hourly rate: USD 25 - 36

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule
• Prepare and file state and federal payroll tax returns quarterly and annually
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Generate monthly financial statements/reports
• Prepare invoices and monitor accounts receivable
• Manage bank deposits
• Complete year-end W-2 and 1099 filings
• Process ACH payments
• Onboard new employees and contractors
• Reconcile retreat-related expenses and related tasks
• Conduct workers' compensation audits
• Interface with tax accountants and banking representatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
• 3+ years of experience in related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; detail oriented
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and SUMIFS
