Job Description

Integritas Emergency Physician Services is seeking a Financial Operations Associate, onsite in Carbondale, IL, with a pay range of $19-$23 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date books by recording electronic transfers, checks, credit card purchases, intercompany loans, and vendor payments with accuracy.
  • Manage the Chart of Accounts by organizing accounts and dimensions, collaborating with the Controller on procedures and policies, and keeping paper and digital files orderly.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and verify the books against source documents to ensure every dollar is accounted for.
  • Oversee accounts receivable by invoicing hospitals for stipends, processing remote deposits, tracking payments, updating the AP/AR Tracker, and handling positive pay notifications.
  • Support Revenue Cycle Management by sorting mail, depositing checks, scanning and transmitting billing files via FTP, sharing patient account correspondence, verifying electronic payments, and coordinating with RCM billing staff on uploads.
  • Provide reliable data to leadership by producing cash position statements, delivering documentation to CPA partners (Creative Planning), and assisting the Controller with annual budgeting, mid-year reviews, and revisions.
  • Monitor compliance by tracking 1099 contracts and ensuring timely, accurate year-end issuance.
  • Support the team by participating in monthly 1:1 coaching, attending weekly operational meetings as needed, and aiding with special events.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • 2–3 years of financial or accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for document creation and maintenance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.
  • Foundational knowledge of bookkeeping and recordkeeping practices.
  • Experience in an office setting and comfort with day-to-day administrative workflow.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with openness to feedback.
  • Volunteer work or community involvement is valued.
