Financial Sales Manager II
Job Description
Lead the sales and associate performance for a boutique business branch, with a primary focus on outbound calling and new business development in Dallas.
Responsibilities
- Manage team performance and personnel activities to ensure operational soundness while executing against a plan to deliver results
- Drive accountability to role expectations, responsibilities, and authorities using ongoing one-on-one feedback and coaching
- Provide proactive use of expertise from bank partners, other managers, and team resources
- Achieve assigned individual and/or team financial, production, and relationship results against defined metrics and goals
- Conduct proactive outreach to engage customers, prospects, and referral sources
- Represent the Bank in the community by participating in civic and community events to generate additional business and identify potential CRA opportunities
- Apply sales practices designed to create value for both customers and the bank
- Coordinate partnering, planning, and preparation to ensure conversations include relevant financial guidance for informed decisions
- Build collaborative partnerships that support value for customers, prospects, and colleagues
- Initiate conversations to identify sales or referral opportunities
- Listen to customer needs, ask insightful questions, and take prompt action to address immediate needs
- Seek coaching, support bank initiatives, and use available tools to optimize performance
- Comply with regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage risk across credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal areas
- Complete required training by established deadlines
- Perform general office management duties as assigned to maintain operational efficiency
- Support operational accuracy and efficiency for deposit-handling associates where applicable
- Maintain accountability for both individual contributions and team performance outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience, OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years of experience in sales, customer service, or lending, including supervisory experience, or financial services sales
- If licensing is required, complete the bank sponsored licensing program within 12 months of entering the role
- Complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act
- Valid driver’s license required
- Frequent driving required to other offices and to meet with bank customers; bank car not provided
